Bria Callaway Bio
Aloha, my name is Bria Lani Callaway and I was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawai’i. My childhood was spent in Kona and I decided to remain a resident of the east side after graduating from the University of Hawaii at Hilo with degrees in both Anthropology and Performing Arts. For the past seven years I have worked as a Licensed Massage Therapist working primarily with clients who have been in workplace and automobile accidents.
I became aware of the subtle energies of the body through being introduced to Pranic Healing and practicing yoga beginning approximately 10 years ago. Understanding the subtle energies that flow throughout our bodies and beyond changed my life and I know this information will help countless others who are needlessly suffering. That is why I am passionate about sharing knowledge of the energetic systems of our bodies and how we can integrate this knowledge into our everyday lives to create better experiences for ourselves and our community at large.
Having been raised here on Hawai’i Island, I believe I have a unique and crucial perspective to offer to the leadership of The Mali’o Foundation and I am deeply grateful to have the opportunity to serve our community in this way. I humbly vow to let my love for the land and people here be my guiding light in all the actions I take in my role as Treasurer to the Foundation. I look forward to the relationships that we have yet to forge and the brighter future for the people of Hawaii that we will build together.
